How the area pages work

Each community page describes what we most often treat for patients traveling from that direction, why the local roads and employment produce the injuries they do, and what the trip practically involves. They exist because the answer genuinely differs: a desk-based office district generates different presentations from an industrial and logistics corridor, and a seventy-minute drive changes how appointments are sequenced.

Distance is planned around rather than ignored. Where a diagnostic block and its follow-up assessment can reasonably share a visit they do, and where blocks must be separated in time we explain why rather than leaving it to seem arbitrary.

What if I live far from the office?

For patients traveling from Jefferson, Franklin and St. Francois counties, the first appointment is deliberately front-loaded so that it produces a working diagnosis rather than only a plan to investigate. Bringing prior imaging and a complete medication list makes that possible; without them the first visit is frequently spent gathering what could have arrived with you.
