What it is

Injections buy a window. Physical therapy is what you do with it. Delivered here rather than referred out, so the therapist and the physician are working from the same findings.

What we use it for

• Flexion-based programmes for spinal stenosis
• Pelvic and hip stability for sacroiliac pain
• Return-to-work conditioning

What to expect

• An assessment of what is actually weak or restricted, not a standard programme.
• Hands-on treatment plus a specific home programme.
• Progress is measured against function — what you can do — rather than against a pain score alone.

Risks

Every injection carries a small risk of bleeding, infection, an allergic reaction, or a temporary increase in pain. Steroid can raise blood sugar for several days, which matters if you are diabetic. Serious complications are rare, and we will go through the specific risks for your procedure and your health before you consent to anything.
